PSD EHS Family Advocates

Our EHS Family Advocates are ready to assist with all of your family needs!

 

Family Advocates are highly trained family service professionals whose responsibilities include:

 

• Keeping ongoing contact with families and working with all other program service areas to keep parents informed

• Supporting parents in their role as primary caretakers and educators of their children

• Encouraging parent involvement in all aspects of the program

• Helping parents develop individual goals for their families

• Helping families as their children transition into Head Start or other preschool settings 

• Helping families apply for and maintain state child care subsidies (for aftercare and other child care expenses)
